The British Masters Basketball Association is an independent organisation to help over 40 years and women over 35 years keep fit and stay active by playing basketball.

Member clubs are located all over Britain from Aberdeen in the North of Scotland to Devon in the South West of England. The Association also have members from Eire in the form of the Rathmines Club and women's teams from Dublin.

Participating players are of varying abilities with some having local leaguer playing experience while others may have played professionally or have represented their country at international level.

The annual masters tournament is the highlight of the year when old friendships are re-kindled and new friendships are made. Each year a different club hosts the event with guest teams being invited from the U.S.A. and Europe. In recent years a Golf Day has been added to the long weekend's sporting itinerary.

Comradeship and goodwill is the forefront of the Association ideals!
